Balcony Beacon: 24/366
A quick shot late yesterday near my work offices. Sometimes you just need to get a shot to keep going with a Project366 no matter how bad you might be feeling. Yeah, this was one of those.

Afternoon Light
It’s all about the light!
Good photography is hard. Getting the composition right, telling a story, making a compelling image. Finding all these things in one photograph can make it a winner. But missing the good light could make it or break it. Light creates depth and mood. These photographs don’t have all the ingredients of a great image, far from it. But they do have nice afternoon light making rather ordinary subjects somewhat interesting. Taking these same shots at mid day would flatten them to the point of putting them in the category of a snapshot, nice to look but that’s about it.
Finished my taxes today…finally stopped procrastinating and just got them done. After a grueling few hours of that, going out for short late afternoon walk was a nice and welcome reward.
Hope you’re all doing great!
